Jay Beck
Jay Beck, Senior Vice President, Regional Commercial Banking Manager, is a resident of the city of San Luis Obispo and a sixth generation native of San Luis Obispo County. He was born and raised in San Luis Obispo.
Jay was hired by American Riviera Bank in August 2018 to open the San Luis Obispo office. He has over 20 years of banking experience, primarily focused in Commercial and Private Banking credit underwriting, business development, staff development and branch management.
When he is not working at the bank, Jay is an active volunteer in the community. He is the current Board Chairman for the Housing Authority of San Luis Obispo and sits on the Board of Directors for the San Luis Obispo Non Profit Housing Corporation. Jay is also a founding board member for the Sandlot Group of San Luis Obispo which supports youth sports and other activities in our community. Jay sits on the board of directors for Leadership SLO and is the current committee chair for the SLO Chamber’s Business and Economic council. He also sits on the board of the San Luis Obispo Repertory Theater.
When he is not active at work and volunteering in the community Jay enjoys spending time with his family – preferably outdoors hiking, mountain biking, swimming and camping.
