Mike Cox began his banking career in 2012 as a Credit Analyst, then Commercial Loan Underwriter and Portfolio Manager, managing a large and complex loan portfolio. He has experience originating and underwriting all types of commercial real estate and commercial and industrial loans. Mike is passionate about building strong local banking relationships and being a trusted advisor.
His commitment to the community is evident through serving as Treasurer of Community Conscience, a non-profit that owns and operates the Human Services Center building in Thousand Oaks, providing rent-free space to local social service organizations.
Mike is a Ventura County native who enjoys spending time with his wife and two dogs, traveling, golfing, hiking, and playing pickleball. In 2024, he received the 40 Under 40 Award from the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce. He is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and received an MBA from Cal State Northridge.
