Today is American Riviera Bank’s twenty-year anniversary! As we reach this meaningful milestone, I want to take a moment to thank you—our clients, neighbors, business owners, nonprofit partners, and friends—for the trust you have placed in us since we first opened our doors in 2006.
American Riviera Bank began with a simple but powerful idea: that a new bank formed by local decision-makers could make a lasting difference in the communities it serves. With the support of almost 400 local shareholders, we set out to build a community bank dedicated to meeting the lending and deposit needs of businesses and consumers throughout our region. Twenty years later, that founding vision continues to guide us every day.
Our full-service branches serve clients in Santa Barbara, Montecito, Goleta, Santa Maria, San Luis Obispo, Atascadero, and Paso Robles. We have also expanded into Ventura County with our Ventura Lending Center and will open the full-service Ventura branch location we recently purchased on S. Victoria Avenue by early 2027. Today, ARB has grown to more than $1.4 billion in total assets, with $1.1 billion in loans supporting the communities we serve. While our bank has grown in size, reach, and impact, our focus remains the same: building lasting relationships, supporting local success, and serving our communities with the care and responsiveness of a true community bank.
